This thorough beginner friendly 6 week class is a perfect start for any new oil painter, whether you've only tried it a few times, need a refresher, or have never touched the medium before. This class is for you!
I will use a combination of tested and proven academic principals with my own self taught techniques, and years of teaching experience, to introduce you to oil painting in a non-intimidating, slow moving, and easy to digest way.
We will cover everything from materials and how to select them, to paint handling, color mixing and values, choosing references, brush techniques, and much more. With ample side by side easel time and live demos Join me in May to begin your oil painting journey and learn what you can really do!

Immersive Introduction to Drawing

Ever wanted to learn how to draw? Drawing is a skill that can be taught to anyone who wants to learn. This workshop is for the beginner in mind but is also for the person who has some experience with drawing but would like to refresh and build new skills. Learn drawing techniques and practices using the element of line that will start you on your new creative endeavor. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to try something new. All materials for the workshop will be provided, but feel free to bring your own sketchbook and any drawing media that you have on hand.
